St. Scholastica E-mail Account, updated as of 5/2022
Alumni, those who completed all degree requirements and earned a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate from The College of St. Scholastica, can keep a CSS email account as long as they log in to change their password at least once every six months. You must log in at email.css.edu. Simply opening your email on your cell phone, Ipad, etc. is not considered logging in. Accounts not logged into for six months will be locked. Alumni wishing to access a locked account can contact us to confirm their identity. Then, once approved we will work with IT to unlock the account. We are unable to provide a new account if the alum has an existing account that is locked.
All locked accounts will be purged after six months. Once an account is purged, it is gone forever and cannot be reinstated. If an alum re-enrolls in any program, a new account will automatically be created for them, but their previous data and content will be gone.
For Alumni who graduated prior to 2011, please contact the Alumni Engagement Office to request an email account be created.

School Song: Vivat St. Scholastica
Vivat! Vivat, St. Scholastica
Melody (adapted) from Reynaldo Hahn
Lyrics by Sister Loretta Sheehan
Vivat! Vivat, St. Scholastica.
To thy fame a tribute raise.
Fount of learning, forge of friendship
home of happy college days.
Pledge we our faith to alma mater,
Pledge to her our heart and hand.
Where e’er we bide she’ll be our guide.
We will praise her throughout the land,
Lakes and hills and spreading campus,
All thy nat’ral charms we love.
And we glory in thy greatness
bless’d with favors from above.
When, in faith and knowledge grounded,
Enter we the world of strife;
May thy counsels, strong and holy,
aid us in our course thru life.

European Coastal Civilizations
April 23-May 3, 2023
From the old-world sophistication of Portugal and the artistic verve of Spain’s Basque country to the Celtic heritage of northwestern France and the regal majesty of London, a riveting canvas of influential seaports awaits you along Europe’s Atlantic coastline. Neoclassical palaces, medieval castles and Romanesque cathedrals illuminate the enduring cultural legacies of European Coastal Civilizations that have played a pivotal role in world history. This exclusive, five-star, small ship itinerary includes an excursion to the solemn shores of Normandy to honor and remember the historic D-Day invasion. Accompanying us to the Normandy beaches is special guest speaker David Eisenhower, grandson of General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower — Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces during World War II.
Opening Convocation was held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021. Members of our Saints Heritage Club were honored and the freshman class was welcomed into the Saints Community. It continues to be a special tradition.
St. Scholastica alumni give back in many ways. If you’re interested in being a class speaker, representative, champ or would like to become a mentor, contact Alumni Engagement at firstname.lastname@example.org, 218-723-6071 or 800-447-5444 for more information.
Saints Alumni Volunteer Program
The St. Scholastica Alumni network is over 30,000 strong! Saints alumni embody the Benedictine values and qualities that represent St. Scholastica, and we are pleased to provide our alumni with a wide range of opportunities to stay connected and benefit from being a Saint.
Alumni are the “living endowment” of any college. Without the passion, pride and care that alumni have for The College of St. Scholastica, and the skills, experiences and talents that volunteers bring, the campus would not continue to thrive for future generations of students. Caring, engaged alumni are vital to the strength and prominence of The College of St. Scholastica.
Volunteering is a great way to give back, or pay it forward and make a lasting impact.
