Veterans Resource Center and Community
No matter who you are, there’s a place for you at St. Scholastica. And for our members of our military community, we mean that literally. The Veteran’s Resource Center (VRC) is a physical space on campus specifically for military students — serving as the base of operations for an ever-supportive and welcoming community that guides you through the ups and downs of college life.
But no matter where you are, our Academic Access/Support, Military Support Director will advocate for you — using all of our available resources to ensure you have a positive experience.
Join the St. Scholastica Military Community
At St. Scholastica, our military community starts at the front door and we want you to be aware of the special steps and resources we have available to you. As you go through this process, please note personalized degree plans and comprehensive expense reports are available before enrollment at St. Scholastica, and for our current military members, we recommend you receive approval from your ESO, military counselor or Service prior to enrollment.
We participate in a number of programs, including the Post 9-11 GI Bill® and the corresponding Yellow Ribbon Program, Federal Tuition Assistance, MN GI Bill®, and State Tuition Reimbursement, to name a few. To research the benefit(s) that fits your service, or family member’s service, contact the Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs’ military education benefit expert in the Duluth Area, who is available to help St. Scholastica students attending any campus.
