Courtney Eickman
Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I support our health science graduate programs in Duluth: Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and PA Medicine. I’m passionate about what I do and really enjoy helping students navigate their higher education journey.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
We really care about our students; class sizes are small, and instructors know our students, which provides a great foundation for learning. Our College community also embraces the Benedictine values of hospitality, respect, community, love of learning, and stewardship, and you see those values instilled in everything we do.
What do you like best about St. Scholastica?
We’re a very warm and welcoming community and I’m proud to be a part of that.
What is your advice for our prospective students?
Take your time, explore your options, and ask lots of questions. You’re choosing more than a program. You’re choosing a community and an experience.

Joseph Janchar
Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I work primarily with adult and online students interested in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Health Care Administration, Applied Data Analytics, and Applied Artificial Intelligence. I enjoy helping students find the program that best fits their background, career goals, and life circumstances.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
I think it’s the personal attention our students receive. Even in our online programs, students have access to faculty, advisors, and staff who genuinely want to see them succeed. That combination of flexibility and personal support makes St. Scholastica special.
What do you like best about St. Scholastica?
The people. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some wonderful colleagues and students over the years. It’s especially rewarding to hear from graduates and learn how their education helped them reach their personal and professional goals.
What is your advice for our prospective students?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Going back to school can feel overwhelming, especially when balancing work and family. Reach out, explore your options, and let us help you find a path that works for you.

Morgan Madden
Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I work with undergraduate Nursing students – both in the Traditional Undergraduate Nursing program and Post-Baccalaureate Nursing program.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
There is a close knit community here where folks really get to know each other, even in hybrid and online formats. Higher education can feel overwhelming, but the friendly approach here makes that feel manageable and empowers students to achieve.
What do you like best about St. Scholastica?
I love being in an environment where people are learning and bettering themselves everyday.
What is your advice for our prospective students?
I think planning is so critical to student success, but you don’t have to do it all alone. Your St. Scholastica community and personal community are all there to support you. Just ask!

Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I work with the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
St. Scholastica is a small, mission-driven Benedictine institution with a deep strength in healthcare and professional education, coupled with flexible delivery for working and nontraditional students.
What do you like best about St. Scholastica?
The people. Our faculty and staff are experts in their areas and are committed to bringing that to our students in meaningful and impactful ways.

Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I work with the RN to BS Online Nursing program, the B.A. Social Work online program, and the Master of Social Work online program.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
Flexibility! We offer great programs to multiple sites and deliveries (day, evening, hybrid, and online).
What do you like best about St. Scholastica?
Community! It’s one of our core values at St. Scholastica. Having the privilege of working with students, faculty, and staff, I feel like I’m a part of a community.

Can you briefly talk about the programs that you work with?
I work with our BA in Psychology, BA in Accounting, BA in Business Management, BS in Computer Science, BS in Computer Information Systems, and the MBA in Leadership and Change.

Our strong sense of community, even in online formats. There is always someone here to help you succeed.

Be a sponge! We want you to be fully prepared to take the next step in your education. Ask questions, attend info sessions, and take in as much information as you can. We are here to help every step of the way.

I work with the MS Chemistry, Masters in Education, Graduate Teaching Licensure, Special Education Licensure, K-12 Reading Licensure, Doctorate in Educational Leadership and the Education Certificates.
In your opinion, what distinguishes St. Scholastica from other colleges and universities?
The supportive approach we use to connect with our community. St. Scholastica works hard to meet folks where they’re at and facilitate a truly meaningful learning experience. All learning journeys are different, so we provide the individualized touch needed to help each student achieve their goals.
