Who should take this certificate program?

This certificate is primarily targeted to professionals without a PMP® certification possessing a bachelor’s degree from any field. Through this program, you’ll learn both predictive (waterfall) and agile project management methodologies.

Graduates of the certificate will be able to:

  • Articulate an idea supported by logic and literature resources
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management processes and best practices
  • Apply modern project management methods and tools

How long will it take to earn the certificate?

The 12-credit certificate program can be completed in two semesters and consists of four foundational courses. These courses cover topics related to writing and communications, leadership, basic project management practices and strategic decision-making.

Fees

Students must purchase a student-discounted Project Management Institute membership. All software is provided for free through our online courses.

Curriculum

Application Deadlines

The Certificate in Project Management has a rolling enrollment process that allows an applicant to start at the beginning of any term. Please talk with your admission counselor to obtain more specific dates.

Eligibility

New Students
  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8
Note: Meeting minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.
Returning Students

A returning student is a student who was admitted and enrolled in a program at St. Scholastica but has been absent from the program for at least three continuous semesters, including summer. To return to the same program at St. Scholastica, a returning student must be in good academic standing and must apply for readmission to the College.
