Dr. Rick Revoir named as vice president of College Advancement
The College of St. Scholastica is pleased to announce that Dr. Rick Revoir has accepted the position of vice president of College Advancement, effective July 14. Dr. Revoir has been an integral member of the College community since 2004, most recently serving as interim vice president.
“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Revoir into his new role as vice president of College Advancement at St. Scholastica. He has been a valuable contributor to the College’s mission and an active member of the Duluth community. I look forward to working closely with Rick and the outstanding College Advancement team,” said President Dr. Barbara McDonald.
Throughout his tenure at St. Scholastica, Dr. Revoir has made significant contributions in numerous positions, including professor and dean of the Stender School of Leadership, Business and Professional Studies; director of the Sandbulte Center for Ethical Leadership; chair of the Accounting, Finance, and Economics Department; and dean of Strategic Development. His broad expertise encompasses strategic planning, donor engagement, and partnership development to advance the College’s goals.
“We have an amazing team in College Advancement. Every day, we work hard to live out our mission to prepare St. Scholastica students for responsible living and meaningful work,” said Dr. Revoir. “We are so fortunate to work with supportive trustees, alums, faculty, staff, students, and community partners.”
Additionally, Dr. Revoir is a respected leader in the Duluth community. He has served on various boards, including the Duluth Seaway Port Authority Board, the St. Luke’s Board of Directors, and the Duluth Workforce Development Board. He was recently invited to join the Northland Foundation Board of Trustees, further demonstrating his commitment to community service and development.
