On-campus Housing

Living at St. Scholastica

Life on campus can be best described with one word - community. Wherever you go, whatever you do, there are friends to laugh with, fellow students to work with, groups to share with. There are countless clubs and organizations in which to participate. And if you don't find one that interests you, start your own. It's all part of growing with the people around you.

Life in the residence hall, too, can be most anything you make it. Study time, down time - you name it, it's all here waiting for you. One thing is for sure, you'll make friendships that will last a lifetime.

St. Scholastica offers a variety of living options - all with 24-hour security to ensure student safety.

Somers Hall

Each room can accommodate two students and is furnished with beds, bookcases, desks, large closets, telephone and sink. Four-person suites are also available and include two bedrooms, living room and private bath. You will also find special study areas, a game room, TV room, and computer lab.

On-campus Apartments

Upperclassmen enjoy apartment living and can choose from among a variety of facilities, including two buildings that opened in fall 2005. In each facility, apartments house four students and include a living room, two or four bedrooms, kitchen, dining area and full bath.

Due to our two-year residency requirement, the vast numbers of students that want to live on campus and limited housing, on-campus housing for juniors and seniors is on a space-available basis.

On each floor of Somers Hall and in each apartment building live Resident Advisors who are available to help you adjust to college life.
