The College of St. Scholastica

Dear Graduating Saints,

I congratulate you, the Class of 2021! What a journey you have been on at The College of St. Scholastica, having experienced one of the most disruptive and unprecedented times in our country’s history. Your time with us has certainly been marked by the COVID19 pandemic, but it has also been marked by greater things that will define you in the years ahead: transformational growth and development, exciting new discoveries and new friendships, your hard work and perseverance, and most of all, your accomplishments both personal and academic in nature. You made it to the finish line and are well prepared to go forth and do remarkable things! Your resilience is impressive and commendable. You have inspired us all and we are very proud of what you have accomplished.

We are honored to be sending you out into your chosen professions fully equipped as thoughtful leaders, sharpened and sensitized by the liberal arts, and well-prepared to serve and transform the world. You have met this mission with heart, mind and soul. You join an amazing group of St. Scholastica alumni who are making a great impact in their communities.

As we celebrate, I look forward to when we meet again, knowing that our motto “once a Saint, always a Saint’ will bring us together in many future celebrations. Until then, best wishes to you as you enter your next chapter in life. And remember to stay in touch with us!

Vivat St. Scholastica!

With gratitude and blessings,

Barbara McDonald, Ed.D
