The curriculum integrates nursing, science, concepts and theories from related disciplines, along with practice and research. The number of credits and time to complete the certificate are dependent of the specialty area.

  • The AGACNP certificate includes 23 credits with 660 direct supervised patient care hours over 3 semesters
  • The FNP certificate includes 25 credits with 675 direct supervised patient care hours over 4 semesters
  • The PMHNP certificate includes 26 credits with 720 direct supervised patient care hours over 4 semesters

Part of the application process includes answering essay questions which are available during the application process in NursingCAS. Each certificate is offered in a hybrid format consisting of online courses and clinical courses supplemented with minimal on-campus meetings.
