The College of St. Scholastica

The College of St. Scholastica is partnering with Minnesota State University, Mankato, to launch the Engineering Dual Degree Pathway. Students who participate in this dual degree program receive both a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Engineering (IRE). This five-year degree includes foundational coursework at St. Scholastica, on-site IRE education in Virginia, MN, and paid internships for hands-on experience and professional connections.

“This is a true partnership between multiple institutions, really for the benefit of providing students choice and options. And so, we’re really proud of how powerful this option will be for students who will earn two different degrees, two different institutions, in an accelerated timeline. So, for those students looking for that option, it’s real, and it’s going to be a powerful thing for students in the future,” said Dr. Ryan Sandefer, vice president for Academic Affairs, in an interview with Fox 21 Online.
