The College of St. Scholastica congratulates the graduates of the Class of 2025! This year’s commencement ceremony promises to be a memorable celebration as the community gathers to honor their accomplishments and hard work.

Commencement details

Gifts for graduates at the Commencement Mass.Commencement weekend begins on Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. for Commencement Mass in the Mitchell Auditorium. Graduates from all religious and spiritual traditions are invited to attend the service, where they will receive an oil lamp as a symbol of the light they will carry into the world as St. Scholastica alumni.

The main event will take place on Sunday, May 11, at the AMSOIL Arena located at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, MN. Doors will open at noon, allowing ample time for guests to find their seats before the ceremony begins at 2 p.m. Graduating students are asked to check in at 1 p.m. and remain for the duration of the ceremony, which is expected to last approximately two hours. With unlimited guest seating available, families and friends are encouraged to come together to celebrate this significant milestone for graduates.

Immediately following the commencement ceremony, a reception will be held in the Lake Superior Ballroom of the DECC. Graduates and their families will have the opportunity to connect with faculty, adjuncts and members of the Board of Trustees.

In recognition of the many achievements of the Class of 2025, President Dr. Barbara McDonald extends her heartfelt congratulations: “Thank you for choosing The College of St. Scholastica. As students, you have blessed us with your presence and gifts, and we are very proud of what you have accomplished. We are excited to see you how you continue to live out our Benedictine mission, as you embrace a future of responsible living and meaningful work.”
