Warm weather conditions in the area bring good news to the baseball program as they will be opening their season on Feb. 26 at Wade Stadium versus North Central University before heading to the Russmatt Invitational in Davenport, FL from March 8-15.

They look forward to improving last year’s overall record of 9-24 and conference record of 7-13 under the new leadership of Brooks Repking. The program’s fifth head baseball coach, Repking stated, “I will do everything in my power to uphold the standard of the people who came before me.”

New Head Softball coach Kallee Wilkins will lead the softball program in the 2024 season, starting with back-to-back games against the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Buena Vista University as part of the Bethany Lutheran Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 24. She shares, “I am looking forward to the experiences that I will learn here and I’m excited to bring my good and challenging experiences to the table and show this team we are and will be a team, on and off the field”.

The team is on the road until Tuesday, April 9, when they take on Augsburg University at Kenwood Field. They are hopeful that the home-field advantage will help; when they competed against the Auggies in 2023, they left Minneapolis, MN with split scores of 4-2 and 2-10.
