The College of St. Scholastica

The College of St. Scholastica will host its 15th annual Homecoming weekend Friday, Sept. 30–Sunday, Oct. 2 with a weekend of athletic competitions, alumni events and talent showcases.

This is the second year Saints teams are competing in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and student-athletes have a full schedule this weekend with football, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball matches scheduled. The football team will play Hamline University on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. at Public School Stadium (PSS).

Other festivities include the Student Talent Show, Prism Music Concert, post-game student tailgate party and Mass service. The College’s alumni engagement department will also host a post-game alumni social at Wild State Cider. Alumni who attend events throughout the weekend will have a chance to enter a drawing for a pair of tickets for St. Scholastica Night at Hamilton this spring at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis.

“We are excited for our 15th Homecoming as we gather with alumni, Sisters, students, faculty, staff and friends of the College for a campus-wide celebration and weekend full of Saints’ spirit!” said Lisa Roseth, director of alumni engagement at St. Scholastica.

Along with activities for current students, alumni will be honored throughout the weekend. During the Student Talent Show on Friday evening, alumna Emily (Morley) Yu ’12 will be awarded the institution’s Young Alumni Achievement Award. On Saturday evening, The Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Mitchell Auditorium.
