St. Scholastica will celebrate its graduates with an in-person procession on Saturday, May 14. For the first time in over 50 years, all of the Spring Commencement festivities, including mass and graduation brunch, will be held on the Duluth Campus.

The procession itself will take place in the College’s Burns Wellness Commons with graduates participating by cohort:

  • School of Arts and Letters, 10:15 a.m.
  • School of Science, 10:30 a.m.
  • Stender School of Business and Technology, 11:30 a.m.
  • School of Education and Social Work, 12:40 p.m.
  • School of Health Sciences, 2 p.m.
  • School of Nursing, 3:30 p.m.

“The College is so excited to honor our graduates and celebrate all of their truly historic achievements as we’ve navigated yet another year of global pandemic,” said President Barbara McDonald. “We are also thrilled to be hosting the festivities right here on our beautiful Duluth Campus. We look forward to welcoming our graduates’ proud guests and family members to St. Scholastica.”

To date, 480 members of the Class of 2022 have registered to participate. The procession is free and open to the public; graduates are permitted to have as many guests as they wish.

Additionally, the College will host a virtual commencement ceremony to recognize and celebrate the achievements of graduating students. St. Scholastica has partnered with MarchingOrder to deliver this ceremony which will be available to view beginning Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. here: Spring 2022 Virtual Commencement Ceremony.
