Dear students, faculty and staff,

Due to winter weather, the Duluth main and HSC campuses will implement reduced operations, effective Monday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. Normal campus operations will resume Wednesday, Feb. 23  at 4 a.m. Here is what this means for you:

  • During reduced operations, on-campus classes will be canceled. At the discretion of the faculty member, some on-campus classes may be moved to remote delivery. Classes already delivered in an online/remote format will continue to be offered. Students should check Brightspace and their email for information and updates from their instructors.
  • Only essential personnel – Facilities Service, Food Service and Campus Safety should report to work as scheduled (a number of you are necessary to maintain our campus’ 24-hour operations and we greatly appreciate your service)
  • During reduced operations, faculty and staff who are able to work remotely are encouraged to do so
  • Please remember that individuals are reminded to use their own best judgment about their safety. If you have any questions, please contact your supervisor.
