Throughout her time at St. Scholastica, Paige Blattner ’26 has given the Benedictine value of stewardship a new meaning. A standout student and dedicated captain of the Saints women’s hockey team, Blattner was awarded the Humanitarian Award at this year’s Saints Sports Awards. A consistent thread throughout her time at St. Scholastica was her deep love for her community, demonstrated through her day-to-day commitment to being a positive leader.

“As a Saint, I have met so many amazing people. My teammates have become my sisters and are all extremely kind and supportive in every aspect of life. With their constant support, I have been able to succeed not only in hockey and school but also in my day-to-day life.”

Blattner’s impact extended beyond athletics, as she worked as a program staff member and lifeguard at a Minnesota Elks Youth Camp. She worked one-on-one with children on behavior management and emotional regulation, with the mission to provide Minnesota youth with a life-changing experience.

Blattner graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Organizational Leadership and will pursue a master’s degree and licensure in Elementary Education at the University of St. Thomas, where she will continue to foster a love of learning.
