Embracing the warmth of community: A holiday reflection from St. Scholastica

As we enter this season of celebration and reflection, we extend warm Christmas and holiday wishes to our extended Saints community. This time of year invites us to pause with gratitude for the shared purpose united under the umbrella of our Catholic Benedictine mission.

Since launching the new academic year, we have lifted up our Benedictine value of community — sharing responsibility to create and support one another, fostering a climate of belonging, and honoring the uniqueness of every individual. At The College of St. Scholastica, community is something that is actively lived. It’s present in our classrooms and residence halls, in moments of challenge and triumph, and in our ability to adapt to changing circumstances without compromising our core values.

Across campus and beyond, we have seen the value of community come alive as students gather to learn and connect, faculty and staff support one another with care and dedication, and alumni and friends remain engaged with the College. Together, we continue to build the future of limitless possibilities.
