Visit Campus

Visit St. Scholastica

Natural beauty meets academic excellence.

One of the best things you can do when choosing a college is to visit campus. The atmosphere of a campus can make a big difference in your college selection process.

Visit St. Scholastica and experience our hospitality. We offer a full schedule of open houses and other events throughout the year.

Campus visit

A personal visit to The College of St. Scholastica usually includes meeting with an admissions counselor and taking a tour of our beautiful campus.  It can include visiting with a faculty member and/or coach. Most campus visits last about two hours. The length of your visit will depend on what activities you would like to include in your visit. Special arrangements can be made for you to:

  • Meet with a professor (depending on availablity)
  • Visit with a coach (depending on availablity)
  • Meet with a financial aid counselor
  • Attend a class (not available from April 11 - Oct. 1)

To arrange a visit, complete our online form. If you have any questions, please call our Admissions Office at (218) 723-6046 or (800) 249-6412 or email us at visitcss@css.edu.

Overnight visit (Not available April 10 - Oct. 1)

To get an idea of what campus life is really like - you are invited to spend a night in our residence hall during the academic year. You may incorporate this with a personal visit, special event or the shadow program.

  • Please schedule your overnight visit at least two weeks in advance.
  • You will be staying with some of our current students in their dorm rooms. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, etc.
  • Overnight visits are limited to one evening and are offered Sunday through Thursday only. Up to three meals in the College's Dining Hall will be provided for each prospective student.
  • We are unable to accommodate all housing requests. * Please note: We cannot host visitors the first week of classes,  when our students are on break, or when our students are preparing for and taking finals.

Shadow Program (Not available April 11 - Oct. 1)

  • meeting professors
  • meeting students
  • having lunch in our Dining Hall
  • taking an inside look at college life
  • having fun!

Being a St. Scholastica Saint is many things — for us it is all about Being the Groove. We are the Saints Drum Line, Steel Band, World Drumming Ensemble and Vocal Revolution. Together we represent a diverse group of learners from all parts of the College, but we are united by our passion for making music. On April 16th at the St. Paul campus at 6:30, we all want to share that passion with you. Come experience first hand what it's like to play in a West African Drum ensemble, try out some Samba Batucada instruments from Brazil, hear up close the fantastic sound of a Steel Drum band that comes to you via Duluth from Trinidad & Tobago. How about a chance to "try on" a drum and play with the students in the Saints Drumline? And to top it off, the "classics" and latest hits arranged for a sixteen piece vocal ensemble!

Join us for an evening of free food and entertainment — get to know our groove, get to know us, get to know CSS!
