Complete Your Master’s in OT in Two Years

Gain the skills you need to help people regain and maintain their independence in all areas of their lives. The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT) at The College of St. Scholastica will prepare you with a solid foundation for implementing occupational therapy processes, so you can support clients in a variety of settings, from schools and healthcare facilities to community mental health agencies and businesses.

Throughout this hands-on, two-year OT master’s program, you will learn to work with diverse client populations across the human lifespan in a wide range of environments. Explore traditional areas of practice — such as children and youth and rehabilitation and disability — and emerging areas, including transitions for older youths, depression in mental health and new technology for rehabilitation.

In on-campus clinicals and fieldwork experiences, you will practice and refine your interpersonal and communication skills with clients and colleagues, develop leadership skills, problem-solve real client situations and participate in evidence-based practice. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for certification as an occupational therapist.
