Graduate Degree and Certificate Offerings

Bachelor’s to Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

A specialized DNP degree for those with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, designed to prepare nurses to practice at the most advanced level of nursing care in both rural and urban underserved areas. This program can be completed in 3 years online, with minimal on-campus requirements. Choose from three concentrations:

BS to DNP — Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Advanced training to become an acute and chronic disease expert practitioner within the adult and geriatric subspecialty, handling complex patients in settings such as hospital medicine, intensive care, emergency room and specialty care.

BS to DNP — Family Nurse Practitioner Specialization

Manage the primary health care needs of families from infancy through adulthood through the use of evidence-based practice, development and implementation of health policy, leadership, education, case management and consultation.

BS to DNP — Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Preparation to address the lifespan psychiatric-mental health needs of persons with serious mental illnesses, substance abuse problems, and/or common medical conditions related to psychiatric and/or substance abuse problems.

Post-Graduate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

The Post-Graduate Doctor of Nursing Practice provides nurses with the leadership, change management and systems design knowledge necessary for a successful career as a APRN, nurse executive or nurse educator. The 100% online curriculum makes our program flexible and accessible to working professionals.

Post-Graduate APRN Certificate Program

The Post-Graduate Certificate educates nurses in an additional specialty area: adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP), family nurse practitioner (FNP) or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). Curriculum offered in a hybrid format consisting of online courses and clinical courses supplemented with minimal on-campus meetings.
