Gain Hands-on Clinical Training

Prepare for a meaningful career in healthcare with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The College of St. Scholastica. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), the DPT is a post-baccalaureate program that can be completed in just under three years.

This unique DPT degree program prepares you with foundational sciences and clinical skills and emphasizes clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and advanced application of knowledge and skills you can put into practice during internships and clinical experiences. You will gain hands-on training alongside peers and faculty at the Health Science Center at BlueStone, which includes state-of-the-art classrooms, a research laboratory, and a community clinic.

At The College of St. Scholastica, you will learn in an educational setting that embraces the five values from the Benedictine heritage. We teach, mentor, and work in ways that are shaped by the emphasis on Community, Hospitality, Respect, Stewardship, and Love of Learning. Graduates of our program are prepared to sit for the National Physical Therapy Examination. Successful completion of the exam is required for licensure in all states.
