Payment Options

For your convenience, the College of St. Scholastica offers students many options to pay on their student account.

Payment Options:

2.  Cashier's Check, Money Order or Personal Check
Checks and money orders should be made payable to The College of St. Scholastica, and include your student ID on the bottom.  Checks and money orders can be mailed to the attention of

PLEASE NOTE: When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. For inquiries please call the College of St. Scholastica OneStop Student Services at (877) 287-8716 or (218) 723-6570. When we use information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.

3. Monthly Installment Plan

In efforts to assist with budgeting expenses, The College of St. Scholastica offers a Monthly Installment Payment Plan through Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS).  The payment plan is designed to give you flexibility in meeting your financial obligation to The College.

4. Online Payment

For your convenience, The College of St. Scholastica offers two online payment methods for students and their parents. One is a credit card method, the other is an electronic check (ACH) method.  Students will need to log in to Cor and select the OneStop tab. #8 on the checklist takes students directly to the Cashnet site.  Parents should go to Cashnet and log in with their user ID and password.

Electronic check online: We offer the electronic check option at no cost to you. You will be required to log in using your student ID and password. Be sure to follow the instructions, and input your bank's routing number and account number carefully. Do not use your debit card number.

Credit cards online: Electronic credit card payments are processed on behalf of St. Scholastica by Cashnet SmartPay (a 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee applies). Payments for tuition and other student charges can be made by using an acceptable credit card, including American Express, Diners Club, Discover or MasterCard. Visa does not participate.

To avoid a convenience fee, but utilize the ability to pay online, students and parents can use the CASHNet SmartPay electronic check payment option.

With either online option, students have the capability to allow access to an authorized user to make payments to a student's account.

5.  Employer Reimbursement Plan

The Employer Reimbursement Payment Plan is designed for students who have an approved employer reimbursement policy.  Many employers offer reimbursement for education tuition as part of the benefits package.  For more information, please contact Student Accounts at (218) 625-4963.

        6. Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial aid at The College of St. Scholastica may include scholarships, grants and/or loans. Complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  It is available online at FAFSA.  This form is also available in high school guidance offices and colleges. If your financial aid has been processed, you should see the amount awarded on your Schedule/Bill in the Credit/Anticipated Credits section. 7. Veterans Benefits

The Veterans Administration for the use of veterans' educational benefits has approved The College of St. Scholastica. Please contact George Beattie in the Registrar's Office at (218) 723-6562 or (800) 447-5444 extension 6562 for specific information. Chapter 31 students (Disabled Veterans) should contact Deb Olson in the Student Accounts office at (218) 723-6292 or (800) 447-5444 extension 6292 regarding their benefits.           

          8.  Payment by Wire Transfer          

Students and families living abroad often find wire transfer the most efficient way to  pay their account balance.  All charges for the cost of the wire transfer are borne by the sender – this includes fees by the originating bank and any intermediary banks.  Please allow two weeks for processing and bank confirmation.  For security reasons, we are not able to post St. Scholastica's  bank account information online.  For more information regarding wire transfer instructions, students and families should contact the Christy Alvar or Terry Marholz  at (800) 447-5444 extension(s) 7045 or 7008.  

Please note:

The due date for payment of your student account is two weeks prior to the start of each semester. If your financial aid hasn't been credited to your account, or circumstances prevent you from paying on time, please contact OneStop Student Services at (218) 723-6570 or (877) 287-8716

Students who have been awarded a Federal Perkins Loan or Federal Nursing Student Loan can sign his/her promissory note by logging into Cor and select the OneStop tab. Choose Financial Aid Awards link and follow the prompts.   It is the student's responsibility to sign before the third week of the term.
