Admissions Requirements and Checklist

The following requirements must be met in order for an applicant to be considered for admittance into the program:

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8

Note: Meeting minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.

A returning graduate student who has been granted admission into a program, enrolls in the program and then stops-out for more than 12 months must reapply to the program by the program application deadline date and meet all admission requirements. Our goal is to make this process smooth and easy for your return to St. Scholastica.

Apply for readmission

To return to the same graduate program at St. Scholastica, a returning student must apply for readmission to the College.

• Click on Graduate Application
• Log in with your email address, or Create a New Account
• Be sure to answer "Yes" to the question "Were you previously enrolled in this program at St. Scholastica, and now applying for re-admission?", and this will cause the application to skip any essay or recommendation requirements.
• If you are returning to the college but applying to a different program, please consult with your admissions counselor to determine what, if any, supplemental application materials will be required.
• There is no fee for applying for readmission.

Taken classes elsewhere? We'll need transcripts.

If a returning student has taken courses through other colleges during their absence from St. Scholastica, official transcripts from those colleges may be required if you need credit for courses.

Please order the following official transcripts:

• Bachelor's degree transcript showing degree conferred
• Any post-baccalaureate transcript
• Any transcript with pre-requisite coursework
• International transcripts: Please see the International Admissions page for additional requirements.

Transcripts must be received on or before the application deadline. Order early in the application process!

Email official transcripts to transcripts@css.edu. Electronic transcripts must be from a certified electronic official transcript provider such as Parchment, Docufide, Scrip Safe, National Clearinghouse or other certified, online transcript services.

Mailed transcripts must be in the original sealed envelope from the school. Mail to:

1. Complete the Online Application.
2. Upon receipt of all application materials, the application packet will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review and the admissions decision.

There are many financial aid options available to help you pay for your education. Contact the OneStop Student Services office early in the application process at (877) 287-8716 or onestop@css.edu.

After you are notified a decision has been made regarding your application, log into your application portal, view your decision letter, and click "Reply to Offer".

As a college student at St. Scholastica, you get to take the lead in your own education and assume responsibility for your success. Please use our accepted students information page to help you along the way, and remember, your advisors and instructors are here to guide and support you as you proceed through your journey toward a degree.

You may be eligible to receive transfer credits for coursework you’ve completed. See our Graduate Transfer Credit Policy for more information and complete a  Credit Transfer Application Form. This form can be completed and provided to your program advisor and/or program department contact.
