In order to be successful in this type of academic environment, students should be self-directed learners and comfortable using a computer. CSS transitioned to Brightspace for our online learning management system in Fall 2019 semester, and all courses will be in Brightspace in Spring 2020. All students are automatically enrolled in the Brightspace for Students course to learn about using Brightspace for their academic success.
Google apps offer students a variety of ways to communicate and collaborate with peers. Popular apps include Gmail, Calendar, Drive (storage), Docs, Slides, YouTube and more.
All students have a Zoom account for web conferencing and live class sessions. Learn more about using Zoom to connect with your peers.
We highly recommend the use of a computer or laptop that meets the standards below. There is a possibility that other systems may perform adequately, but they are not supported by our technology support personnel. Tablets and Mobile devices may lack some essential functionalities. Scholastica will provide an email account that is accessible via the Internet.
