FGR Resources for Faculty and Staff

FGR offers the following support to faculty and staff:

  • Researching potential funding sources;
  • Discussing project ideas and potential funding sources;
  • Facilitating clearance for all grant proposals (REQUIRED)
  • Sending reminders regarding reporting deadlines;
  • Reviewing and editing grant proposals and reports;
  • Assisting with budget development;
  • Formally submitting all proposals and reports (REQUIRED);
  • Sharing information on grants received.

Getting Started

Members of the College community interested in seeking grant support must submit the Intent to Apply for External Funding Form to FGR at least eight weeks in advance of the proposal deadline. This form must be approved by the President's Staff before proceeding with the proposal development process.

A signed Proposal Checklist must be submitted to the FGR Office before the proposal is submitted to an external funding agency. This checklist confirms that the proposal author's supervisor has reviewed the final draft and the Budget Director has reviewed the budget.
