Rilee Dawson (2-2) picked up the win in game one, allowing only 1 earned run on 4 hits, no walks and 8 strikeouts.
The Saints opened up a 3-0 lead over the first two innings and then exploded for 9 runs in the top of the third. Thirteen batters stepped up to the plate in the big inning with Erica Bond picking up two hits, the first being a one-out solo shot over the center field fence to get the Saints rolling.

Kristi Erickson, Laura Heise, and Thomas each picked up 2 RBI for the Saints and Missy Erickson scored 3 times.

Game two started horrendously for Crown as St. Scholastica put up 11 runs in the bottom of the first inning. The first eight batters St. Scholastica sent to the plate registered base hits which included 4 doubles. Laura Heise had an RBI single in her first at bat in the inning then later picked up 3 more RBI with a homerun, her fourth of the season. She picked up two more RBI with a third inning double, finishing the day with a single game season high 6 RBI.
Catcher Paula Madden had two doubles in the inning and finished the day with 4 hits, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Lead off hitter Joann Juten also collected 4 hits with a pair of RBI and scored 3 runs.
Krystal Kinney got her first start of the season at third and made the most of it, going 3-for-3 with a walk, and scored 4 runs for the Saints.
Freshman Amy Jansen started on the mound for the Saints and ran her season record to 4-0 with the win. Heise pitched the final two innings and struck out 4 giving her a career total of 969, only 31 shy of the 1,000 mark.

The Saints return to action immediately after the Easter break with a pair of road doubleheaders, both rescheduled due to inclement weather and poor field conditions earlier in the season.
On Monday, April 17 the Saints play a pair at UW-River Falls, then move on to UW-Eau Claire for a twinbill against the #8 Blugolds on Tuesday, April 18.
