Men's Basketball - vs. NE Wesleyan Tournament-Warburg
Saints drop game at Snyder Classic After falling behind 22 in the first half the Saints turned it on in the second closing the gap to four points with 3:30 remaining in the game before bowing to Wartburg (IA) College 80-68 at the Snyder Classic hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Sophomore Brady Zubke led the second half charge scoring 18 of his team leading 21 points. The Saints, who shot 68% in the second half and 54% for the game, also got 21 points from junior Derek Johnson. Wartburg (2-1) had four players in double figures as they shot nearly 60 percent in the first half to enjoy a 19 point lead at halftime.
Next up for the Saints (0-3) is Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday night at 7:30. They will try and avenge their 68-53 loss to them last weekend at the Wells Fargo Shootout in Duluth.
