Women's Cross Country - vs. NAIA National Championship
Houck Leads Saints at NAIA Cross Country Championship - St. Scholastica women finish 26th

Senior Jen Houck (Wright, Minn./Cromwell-Wright HS) was first across the line for the Saints at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships today in Louisville, Ky. Houck finished in 96th place overall of the 259 runners, leading the Saints to a 26th place national finish.
As she has done most of the season, fellow senior Stacy Kantola (Jr., Cook, Minn./Cook HS) was able to finish on Houck's shoulder, finishing in 97th place with a time of 19:19.65. Kantola was 142nd in 2003 in a time of 19:51.
Erin Reicks (Fr., Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) was 125th in 19:35.50, senior Amy Wicker (Duluth/East) finished in a time of 19:55.70 and 166th place, Bridget Smith (So., Winona, Minn./Cotter HS) was 221st in a time of 20:32.20, Brittany Peterson (So., Carlton, Minn./Carlton HS) was 233rd in 20:52.65 and in 241st place was Jessi Weickert (So., Perham, Minn./Perham HS) in a time of 21:06.5. press release Adobe Acrobat
