Women's Soccer - vs. Augsburg College
Saints tie MIAC challenger Augsburg on Auggies' home turf

In an evening match-up under the lights against the MIAC championship-contending Auggies, both teams experienced a rough night while settling for a 1-1 tie after two over time periods.
The Saints opened the scoring in the 30th minute as Jen Seip received a long pass from Shannon Kresky, from mid-left to deep-right, then beat the Augsburg keeper for her eighth goal of the season and a 1-0 lead for St. Scholastica. Though outshot 7-5 in the half, St. Scholastica had things going much of their way for most of the half.
Play picked up in every sense in the second period as shots on goal increased, as did the level of physical play. The Auggies tied the game a little over two minutes into the period on a goal by leading scorer Millie Suk. From there, each team pushed, often each other, for the tie-breaking goal. Neither team broke through, each team's keeper maintaining the tie. Kristin Lammi had 9 saves in the double-overtime match for the Saints, despite receiving some harsh contact in the box.
Seip's goal credits her with two more points on the career scoring list for a total of 143 points, only two shy of the career leader, Jill Tribble.
