Women's Soccer - vs. Bethany Lutheran
Shutout victory over Bethany Lutheran keeps Saints undefeated in UMAC

Behind three goals and an assist from Jen Seip, St. Scholastica easily took care of Bethany Lutheran 7-0 to remain undefeated in conference play, and atop the UMAC standings.
St. Scholastica took an early lead in the 6th minute behind Seip's first goal with an assist from Robin Johnson. The Saints offense generated 19 shots in the first half but only took a 1-0 lead into the half.
Seip got the ball rolling early after the break scoring her second off a feed from Kristen Stangel, just over a minute into the period. The floodgates opened after that as first, Shannon Kresky scored on a feed from Seip, then Kristy Shelerud had an unassisted goal to move the score to 4-0.
Kresky came back with her second goal a few minutes later, this one on a header from a Johnson cross, and then Krista Parrent scored off a ball from Stangel.
Seip closed out the game scoring with her third of the game, Parrent feeding her in the box for the hat trick. Seip's 7 points on the day move her past #2 on the career points leaders, Nikki Stromski '95. She now has 141 points and is only five behind all-time points leader Jill Tribble '95.
