Win over Jamestown locks Saints into NAIA playoff spot


With their 3-1 win over Jamestown College, the Saints assured themselves a slot in the Region III playoffs held in mid-November.
Nicole Seguin got things rolling for CSS almost midway into the first half with her fourth goal of the season, this one on assists from Kristy Shelerud and Shannon Kresky. The goal held up through the remainder of the half sending the Saints into halftime with the lead.
In the second half, Keely Raab (4) scored what would prove to be the game-winner with an assist from Sarah Certano. Surrendering a goal to halve their lead, Robin Johnson (6) then scored late for the second day in a row to put the game out of reach and push the Saints to their fourth win in a row. Kresky got her second assist of the game on Johnson's goal, and Becky Fisher also received an assist.
Kristin Lammi moved her goals against average down to 1.52/game as she upped her season mark in goal to 4-4-1 on the year
