The field only seemed tilted and funnelled towards the Eagle goal as the Saints pounded out 41 shots and 8 goals in their shutout victory. Goalkeeper Kristin Lammi faced one shot all day, making the save in the second period.
Two Saints each scored two goals as Shannon Kresky scored her first two of the season and Nicole Seguin increased her season total to three with her pair today.
Krista Parrent opened the scoring at 25:44 with her first goal of the year, with an assist from Kristy Shelerud. Then Keely Raab got her second of the year less than 10 minutes later. Almost immediately afterward, Kresky put her first of the season into the back of the net for a 3-0 halftime lead.
Nicole Seguin went on the offensive early in the second half scoring her two goals less than two minutes apart. Kresky followed up with a goal assisted by Parrent, Robin Johnson scored an unassisted goal at 66:59 and then Kristen Stengal scored on a beautiful one-timer in the air off a perfect feed from Katie Lofald's free kick at the 83 minute mark.
