Women's Soccer - vs. Advantage Cup-Dakota Wesleyan
Saints Score Solid Victory Over Dakota Wesleyan in Advantage Cup

If game one of the Advantage Cup Tournament proved to be a drought for the Saints, the faucet was wide open in game two as the Saints rolled to a 5-0 victory over the Tigers.

Nicole Seguin opened the scoring for the Saints in the 42nd minute with a solid shot off an assist from Krista Parrent. The goal was both the Saints' and Sequin's first of the season. Just over 1:30 later Shannon Kresky sent a corner kick into the box that freshman Robin Johnson headed home for her first collegiate goal which staked the Saints to a 2-0 halftime lead.

The deeper St. Scholastica squad wore down their opponents in the second half as freshman Kristen Stangel scored her first collegiate goal in the 57th minute, Johnson added a second goal in the 78th, and Sarah Certano got her first of the season on a penalty kick in the 81st minute.

Defenders like Becky Fisher, Katie Lofald, Sarah Tungseth and Michelle DeBoer swept things clear in front of their own goal and helped Kelly Momsen gain the shutout victory.
