Women's Basketball - vs. WI-River Falls
Klocke leads Saints in win at River Falls

With a game-high -- as well as a season-high -- 26 points, Sarah Klocke helped push the visiting Saints past the Falcons of UW-River Falls. The 69-56 win was the third victory in a row for St. Scholastica and moves their overall record closer to the .500 mark (5-6) as they enter conference play with their next game at MN-Morris.

Klocke had 16 points in the first half, shooting 3 for 6 from the field but hitting 9 fo 10 free throws. Jen Kne did the inside work for the Saints grabbing 7 rebounds, all at the defensive end, while chipping in 6 points.

The Falcons held Klocke to 10 points in the second half but Kne stepped up for the Saints adding 13 to her first half totals to finish with 19. She also added a few more rebounds, closing the game out with team-high 11.

Freshman Erin Niles also scored in double-digits for the Saints as she added 13 to the cause.

The Saints were out-rebounded by the taller Falcon squad 48-36 but the tenacious Saints defense held River Falls to under 30% shooting for the game while St. Scholastica hit over 47% of their shots.
