Women's Volleyball - vs. UW-Oshkosh Tournament-Milikin
Saints finish in 4th place at UW-Oshkosh Tournament
The Saints culminated a very successful week with a stellar showing at the Oshkosh Tournament.
St. Scholastica opened Friday night's session with two victories. First the Saints quickly defeated Lawrence University 3-0 (30-26, 30-18, 30-17), then answered the challenge thrown at them by UW-Stevens Point, winning 3-1 (30-25, 30-27, 27-30, 30-23).
Saturday's opener would be against power-house UW-La Crosse, and the Saints couldn't come up with enough for the win, falling 3-1 (28-30, 30-25, 22-30, 25-30). Their earlier victories earned them a spot in the third place match, against Millikin University.
Millikin took the first game but the Saints bounced back to even the score by winning game two. The next two games went to Millikin though, closing the match out 3-1 (22-30, 30-28, 19-30, 21-30).
Junior LeAnn Berscheit was voted to the All-Tournament team by the coaching staffs at the tournament.
