Women's Volleyball - vs. Augsburg Tournament-UW-Eau Claire
Saints finish fourth at Augsburg Invitational
With a 2-2 record after weekend play in Augsburg, the Saints played their way to a fourth place finish with wins over Macalester and the host school to their credit.
St. Scholastica alternated wins and losses after opening the Invitational with their win over Augsburg. In the evening the Saints fell 3-1 to UW-Stout in which every game finished with a winning margin no greater than 4 points.
On Saturday morning, the Saints were able to exact a bit of revenge over Macalester taking a 3-1 victory after falling 3-0 to the Scots on their own home court only two days earlier. In their final game, St. Scholastica fell 3-1 to eventual tournament champion UW-Eau Claire. The Saints grabbed the win in game one of the match but Eau Claire took the next three in succession for the victory.
