Men's Cross Country - vs. St. Norbert's Tom Barry Invitational
Women lead the pack, men finish 5th at Tom Barry Invitational
The men and women from St. Scholastica opened their seasons with strong outings at the Barry Invitational. The first place women placed five runners in the top 20 (of 100 runners) to easily outdistance the closest college team, Lawrence University.
Sixth place finisher Jennifer Houck was the first Saint to cross the line in 20:17, followed closely by Erin Reicks in 20:26, the ninth fastest time on the 5K course.
The men were led by Chris Rubesch who clocked a 22:31 for the 4 mile men’s course, a time that placed him twelfth of the over 120 runners.
