Elsevier/Science Direct Journals
This database is not limited to only natural or applied science journals; it includes other disciplines such as Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Health and Medicine, and Pharmacology. Click on the link to the left. Once at the ScienceDirect web site select the green "journals" tab (third from the left). This will take you to the journals area where you will be able to view full text articles from our subscribed journals.
General Science Collection

GreenFILE
GreenFILE offers well-researched but accessible information covering all aspects of human impact on the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles include content on the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and local/national governments, and what can be done on each level to minimize negative impact. Topics covered include global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. GreenFILE is multidisciplinary by nature and draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology.
Science Reference Center
Science Reference Center is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-oriented content. This database contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.
Scirus
Scirus currently searches over 167 million science-related Web pages, as well as citations from Medline, ScienceDirect, USPTO, ArXiv.org, BioMed Central, NASA technical reports, and Project Euclid.
SORA
SORA indexes seven key journals in the field of ornithology. Included in SORA are the Auk, Condor and Wilson Bulletin. Each title is indexed back to the first issue, which for several titles, such as the Auk, means the late 19th century. Full text from older issues (older than five years) is also available.
