Welcome to the RHIT to RHIA Progression Program at St. Scholastica.

The Progression Program is a distance-based program for RHIT's who wish to earn a bachelor's degree in Health Information Management and become eligible for the RHIA national examination.

Core program courses are offered via distance learning technology, minimizing time away from work and family. The program is accessible to students who live at a distance and who are unable to enroll in a full-time traditional health information management program.

The hallmark of the Progression Program at St. Scholastica is the two required one week on-campus intensives that bookend your educational experience.  A two credit course is taught at each of these intensives.  To learn more about the on campus modules, along with student experiences and comments, please follow the link to On-Campus Modules

Our program is one that provides excellence and value with the flexibility needed to achieve success.  We focus on the individual needs of our students and work closely with them to ensure they achieve their goals.

As our college catalog states, our purpose is to "foster an environment in which students, staff, and faculty will be inspired with the Benedictine values expressed in community, hospitality, respect, stewardship, and love of learning."
