James Mongé, M.D.
Dr. Mongé is a surgeon from St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, WI. He received his bachelor of arts from the University of Chicago, his doctor of medicine degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and his master of science in surgical pathology from the Univeristy of Minnesota. He did his internship at Passavant Memorial Hospital, Northwestern Univeristy in Chicago, and his residency at Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation in Rochester, MN. He has served as staff physician of the section of General Surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, WI, since 1999, and Locum tenes in Shawano, WI since 2004. He has been a clinical professor at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Duluth, since 1973. Monge also is a trustee emeritus and past chairman of the Board of Trustees at St. Scholactica.
