Graduate Studies
MA in Management - Adult Learning Campuses
The St. Paul and St. Cloud campuses offer students the opportunity to earn a Master of Arts in Management degree in an accelerated 16-month format.
The Master of Arts in Management program prepares managers who can lead change initiatives within their organizations, professions, and business sectors. The program approaches management as a practice, much like medicine or law, which can be studied and mastered. It produces graduates who are skilled at identifying and analyzing organizational problems, creating innovative solutions, and making correct, ethical decisions at the times they are most important.
The program's primary focus is the inquiry of organizational behavior, organization development (planned change), human resource management, interpersonal communication, and strategic management. It also includes traditional business topics such as marketing, finance and economics.
