Recycling Guidelines:

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
1. All of the following can be put together in the paper containers:
File/Office paper/Colored paper
Any NON-corrugated cardboard
Pamphlets
Brochures
Magazines
Catalogs
Newspapers
Note paper (NO groundwood, wire spiral spines)
Phone Books
Post Its, adding machine tape, register tape
Shredded Paper
Carbon less Paper
Envelopes WITHOUT windows
Glossy paper
Ream Wrappers
Paperback books

2. Hardcover and text books CAN be recycled, but need to be in a
separate container. You can put any hardcover books in a box, and set
it by the recycle containers in the hallways, and we will pick up.
Please mark them for disposal.

3. Plastic, glass and metal containers DO NOT have to separated from
each other. They can be put together in the containers.

4. We have separate containers located throughout the campus for
aluminum cans, but they can be put with the plastics/glass/ metal can,
if need be.

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
Stencils
Paper plates (or any other types of serving material with food
waste).
Thermal Fax Paper
Plastic Wrap
Envelopes WITH windows
Carbon Paper
Any type of Styrofoam, plastic cups or plates
Three ring binders of any kind
Groundwood Paper of any kind
Photographs
Paper wrappers from medical supplies, (i.e. gauze, band-aids)
Plastic Grocery Bags

The following NEED to be removed from the recycling:
Paper clips, rubber bands, staples, adhesives, plastic tabs,
plastic and wire spirals.
