Dining dollars are the same as having cash in your pocket. Dining Dollars are deposited to your food service account and are accessible through your ID card. They can be used in both food service locations as well as in vending and Java Express. When Dining Dollars are used in The Greenview, it is at a discounted faculty/staff rate for yourself (which is subsidized by the college). When using Dining Dollars for a guest, you will be charged the Student/Guest Dining Dollar rate. Dining dollar purchases are subject to tax.
The Greenview is located in Somers Hall. It offers 19 meals per week in an "all-you-can-eat" atmosphere with a variety of menu items at each meal period. Specialty items such as wraps, pasta to order or a carving station, as well as vegetarian entrees are offered at each meal. The daily menu is available by calling extension 3001. The weekly menu is posted on the web under The Greenview Menu.

Storm's Den is located in the student union area of Tower Hall and is named after our beloved St. Bernard mascot. It features a variety of items on an "ala Carte" basis. The menu includes grill items, made-to-order deli sandwiches, a daily special, salads, soups, bakery items, and individual pizzas. There is also a convenience store area located near the cashier where you can purchase food items as well as batteries, highlighters, etc. Storm's Den is open Monday through Thursday, 7 am until 10 pm; Friday, 7 am until 8 pm; and Sunday, 4:30 pm until 9 pm. The weekly specials' menu is posted on the web under Storm's Den Menu. Java Express is a specialty coffee bar located in the Union as part of the PORT information desk. You can purchase a variety of hot and cold beverages in this area using cash or Dining dollars. Java Express is open Monday through Friday from 7 am to Midnight, Saturday from Noon to 10 pm and Sunday from Noon to Midnight. This area is closed during breaks. The Java Express menu is posted on the web under Java Express Menu. Lost cards must be reported to the Business Office, Somers Campus Operator or The Greenview Cashier. You will receive a voucher to use. Once you lose your card, you must purchase a new card from the Campus Operator in the Somers Hall. The new card will be ready to use at the time of purchase. Card problems are most often handled by the Food Service department. The Food Service Director's office is Somers 82 on the ground floor of Somers Hall and the phone number is x6652. The secretary may also be able to help; she is located in the main kitchen in Somers or by phone at x6481.
