Recently, some lenders have decided to leave the student lending business due to unfavorable market conditions.

The following lenders are no longer available for Stafford loans:

• Academic Funding Group (AFG)
• Bremer Bank
• College Loan Corp.
• Collegiate Solutions
• Student Assistance Foundation
• Student Capital
• Student Loan Xpress
• TCF

If you used one of these lenders, you will not find their name on the lender list when you apply for your loans; you will need to select a new lender.

Your current loans are secure, and in most cases, will continue to be serviced by the servicing company that currently holds them. If they are sold, you will be notified by the lender/servicer.
