Multiple Authors for MLA
Homepage > Academics > Library > Find Research Tools > Help for Citations > MLA Formats > Book MLA > Multiple Authors MLA

If your source has more than one author, cite the first author as you normally would with the last name first followed by the full first name. Subsequent authors will then be listed with their first name first and their last name second. Place a comma between each name and end with a period.

Example: Moore, John T., Susan Clever, and Thomas James.

Note: If there are more than three authors listed, you can just list the first name and then et al in place of the other names, or you can list all of them.

Example: Lewis, Misty, et al.
