St. Scholastica opened the 2007 schedule with a bang, taking the first game from nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh by a 30-24 score, but it was the Titans (1-0) that closed things out with three consecutive wins to take the match 3-1 over the Saints (0-1) at the Elmhurst (Ill.) College Invitational on Friday evening.

Shawna Varichak reached double-figures in kills for the Saints with 10 while Kati Berscheit led in set assists with 35. Defensively, Diana Moody had a match-high 24 digs to lead the Saints.

Oshkosh had three players in double-figures in kills and tallied 14.5 blocks in the match win compared to eight for the Saints.
