SAINTS BASEBALL TO BE ON AIRWAVES AGAIN IN 2008
WEBC The FAN560 to air Saints baseball
St. Scholastica baseball will take to the air again in the 2008 season with at least 25 games set for radio broadcast on WEBC The FAN560. Last season the Saints and The FAN teamed up for a similar agreement in which the radio station covered the Saints through their run into the NCAA Regional of the national Division III tournament. St. Scholastica’s 2008 schedule will include games from Florida over their spring trip, multiple games in the early part of the schedule at the Minneapolis Metrodome along with regular season home and away contests and the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference playoffs, as well as the potential of a fourth straight appearance in the NCAA D-III tournament. St. Scholastica (36-8, 18-1 UMAC) baseball won their 11th straight conference title last season and played in the D-III tournament for the fourth time in the program’s storied history.
