SAINTS ADD TO FOOTBALL COACHING STAFF
Newly anointed St. Scholastica head coach Greg Carlson has added to his coaching staff with the naming of Tom Parkevich as the team’s Defensive Coordinator.

Parkevich joins the Saints after spending the past 10 years at Earlham (Ind.) College. Parkevich served as the football team’s defensive coordinator over his final eight seasons with the Quaker’s after spending his first two years as the program’s linebackers coach. He was the head baseball coach throughout his decade-long stay at Earlham.

Prior to his stint at Earlham, Parkevich was the defensive coordinator for the football program and head baseball coach at Blackburn (Ill.) College from 1994 through 1997.

A native of Logansport, Ind., Parkevich is a 1991 graduate of Mount Senario College where he was a two-time all-conference honoree at inside linebacker, two year team captain, two-time Defensive MVP and team MVP as a senior. During the summers of 1990 and 1991, he played inside linebacker and coordinated the defense for the Stoke-on-Trent Spitfires in England.

Tom and his wife Michelle live in Duluth and have three children, Beau, Levi, and Veronica.
