CSS WINS DOUBLEHEADER OPENER AGAINST PRESENTATION
In the final two regular season conference games for St. Scholastica and Presentation, it was the Saints from Duluth that came out ahead of the Saints from Aberdeen, S.D., in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Wade Stadium, winning by a 6-1 score. St. Scholastica starting pitcher Keith Ritsche (4-1) allowed only three hits and one run over six innings of work to help lead the local Saints to the win. Mark Erickson came on in the seventh and closed the door with strikeouts of all three Presentation batters he faced. Blake Eller had a pair of singles for St. Scholastica. He finished with one RBI, stole two bases, and scored once. Steve Kraushaar hit a two-run homerun in the sixth inning for his fifth of the season and team-leading 52nd and 53rd RBIs.
