Men's Baseball - vs. Cazenovia (N.Y.) College
WILDCATS SWEPT BY SAINTS
St. Scholastica (7-3) swept their doubleheader with Cazenovia (N.Y.) College (0-5) on Thursday afternoon with a 16-0 shellacking of the Wildcats in Fort Pierce, Florida. The Saints rolled past the Wildcats in game one, 33-3 behind a 20-hit attack. Game two proved to also be a feast for St. Scholastica batters as 10 different Saints picked up at least one hit. Kyle Rizzi, Sean Claugherty (2 RBI), Keith Ritsche, Steve Kraushaar (2 runs), Blake Eller (2 RBI), Chad Weiss, and Mike Lewis (2 RBI) each had at least two hits in the game. Jake Gaub earned his first win of the season for the Saints in pitching the shutout victory that pushed the Saints win streak to five games.
