Learn another way to take care of yourself. 5:00 p.m. S3223 January 2009 January 7 - 9, 2009 MENTUR Project Bridge Program for Newly Accepted Nursing Majors The program will focus on mathematical skills, writing skills, and a basic science review, as well as issues related to time management, study skills, use of technology, etc. The bridge program will also provide opportunities for students to network with each other, tour clinical settings, and meet nursing role models from disadvantaged backgrounds. She will discuss transitions from school to career including highlights and struggles as a new graduate. She will address how CSS prepared her for the NCLEX exam and her career. Additionally, Firestar will address cultural interactions and how they influenced her in her career. At the end of the workshop, we will have a few minutes for question and answers.
